Help With Video

Videos are generally large and heavy for computers to work with. We recommend that your computer be fairly new with at least 2 gigs of memory and a high speed internet connection is also required. If you are having problems because of a slower internet connection or an older computer with less processing power or limited memory, try these tips to have a better training experience.

  • If your internet connection is limited, start the video and as soon as it starts to play, pause it and let it download for a minute before playing the video.
  • Memory – Video runs smoother with more memory. If the video is jumpy, take your computer in to see if you can “add” memory or add a “video card”. A computer tech can tell you what you need.
  • If you are on a dial up connection, then it is very difficult to view these videos online. We have a great option that requires zero internet connection. We are offering the modules for sale on thumb-drives a.k.a. USB drives. It is like having the online course right on your computer’s hard drive. Keep an eye on the e-store for the thumb-drives.
